To get started:

Step 1: Sign up for a free 21-day trial on the Matomo website. Simply provide your email address and website address to begin. By default, the sub-domain of your Matomo instance will be based on your website address. If you prefer a different sub-domain, you can click on 'change' to enter a different sub-domain of your choice.

Step 2: After signing up, you will receive an email from Matomo asking you to activate your account. If you don't receive the email, please don't hesitate to contact our support team for assistance. Once you have received the email, you can set your password and gain access to your Matomo account.

Step 3: Once you log in, you'll be presented with your Start Tracking page. On this page, you'll find your unique tracking code ready to be integrated into your website.

In addition, you'll discover comprehensive instructions on how to seamlessly integrate the tracking code into various website platforms, including WordPress, Joomla, Wix, and more.

After successfully adding the tracking code to your website, you can immediately begin tracking visits. You'll be able to monitor visits in real-time through the visit log and real-time sections of your Matomo instance, providing you with valuable insights into visitor activity on your website.
